The Debbie Challenge

This weeks article is a bit of a different one. I had a challenge set to me by one of our Jacobs Fitness Community Online members, Debbie. 

The challenge was to complete 60 step ups on each leg. I got to choose the weight and the height of the step. Now, I'm throwing the challenge over to you. Follow this video and join me for the challenge. 

I wasn't too much of a fan when I first got the notification on Facebook. I'd been really tired all week and had skipped a heap of workouts to just try and get through the physical literacy program I've been running at a local primary school. And trust me, it is physical! 

I'd already skipped my Saturday morning long run and had had a busy morning running the four kids around to each of their individual sports. I was laying on the couch in the early afternoon watching the AFL on TV and was happy to spend the arvo relaxing before I got the Facebook notification. 

Shouldn't have looked at my phone 🤦🏻♂️😜

But I did, and there was the notification on Facebook from Debbie. I thought about ignoring it but my desire to lead by example and be a team player got the better of me. 

I got up, did it, and filmed it.
